Just about every major brand you've heard of is made by DEI and use components by DEI so really it's a matter of remote preference & features. I've found that brand X for example will have that one feature that brand Y doesn't and vise versa, but both are owned by DEI.
If you plan on doing the install yourself, I've read that some of the major brands do not warranty ANYTHING if it wasn't done purchased and installed by and AUTHORIZED dealer.
